THE popular model town in Wimborne is set to reopen to the public next month.
Wimborne Model Town will reopen on April 12 with measures in place to limit the spread of Covid-19.
A one-way socially distanced route will be in operation and visitors can take part in a free quiz trail around the model town which includes more than 100 shop fronts featuring Wimborne in the 1950s.
Iain Stevenson, Model Town chairman, said: “We’re delighted to be able to reopen for the second week of the Easter holidays and look forward to welcoming our visitors to a safe outdoor environment that our volunteers have worked hard to achieve.”
Indoor facilities including The Wareham Bears and the model railway are scheduled to open in May.
