EIGHT more people have died with coronavirus in Dorset hospitals, latest figures have revealed.
NHS England’s daily update showed a further seven people died with Covid-19 at the University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
Five of the deaths occurred on February 28, one happened on February 27 and one happened on February 16.
A further death was also confirmed at the Dorset Healthcare Trust, occurring on February 25.
It means, since the start of the pandemic, 667 people have died with Covid-19 at UHD, 72 people have died under the care of the Dorset Healthcare Trust and 106 people have died at the Dorset County Hospital.
In hospitals across England, a further 204 people died with the virus, taking the total to 83,733.
Patients were aged between 32 and 100 years old and all but seven had underlying health conditions.
The deaths date back to January 2 and 19 came in the south west.
