FEWER than 60 people were admitted to Dorset hospitals with Covid in a week.
Figures released by NHS England shows 57 people were admitted to hospitals with Covid-19 between February 22 and February 28.
Of these patients, 44 were admitted to the University Hospitals Dorset Trust, including 14 on February 24 and eight on February 25.
Ten people were admitted to the Dorset County Hospital with the virus, including five on February 25.
And seven people were admitted to the Dorset Healthcare Trust, three on February 25 and two on February 2.
As of March 2, 68 patients were occupying hospital beds with Covid-19, 43 at UHD, 13 at the Dorset County Hospital and 12 at the Dorset Healthcare Trust.
Two of the patients required mechanical ventilation, both at UHD.
