A STUDENT was found dead at her home in Bournemouth by her flatmate, an inquest has heard.
The inquest into the death of Mahya Faraahi, 23, who died at her home in Southcote Road on March 2, opened at Bournemouth Town Hall on Monday.
Ms Faraahi had been struggling with her mental health and concern was raised by her flat mate who had not seen her for a few days, the inquest heard.
She was found deceased in her bathroom and police found there were no suspicious circumstances.
A postmortem found the medical cause of death to be 1A hanging.
Dorset coroner Brendan Allen adjourned the inquest for a review hearing of August 9 and requested statements from Ms Faraahi’s GP, the mental health services and the police regarding their investigation.
