EMERGENCY services were called to Bournemouth pier to search for a missing man.
Dorset Police were joined by Southbourne and Poole coastguards as well as a crew from the RNLI Poole lifeboat station.
They were alerted at 4.50pm yesterday and as they searched they were told the male had been located further inland.
