BOURNEMOUTH is quickly becoming the go-to place for people to move to which is leading to a competitive housing market.
Our bustling seaside town has seven stunning miles of golden sandy beaches as well as plenty of places to eat and drink making it the ideal place to settle down.
With the coronavirus pandemic leading people to look for more open space and a better quality of life, lots of people from outside of the region are looking to move to the town - making the market more competitive than ever.
In his latest budget announcement the Chancellor declared that the stamp duty holiday -which freezes extra property costs - will continue until the end of June this year.
The extension means if you are buying a home up to the value of £500,000 you will not pay any stamp duty if the purchase is completed by 30 June 2021.
That, coupled with the five per-cent deposit scheme, means that affordable properties are being snapped up quickly.
