A DRUG driver caught behind the wheel while under the influence of cannabis has been banned from the roads.
Joshua Ward was caught drug driving in a Volkswagen Caddy van on Christchurch Road in New Milton, New Forest, on October 4 last year.
The 21-year-old was found to have THC - a breakdown product of cannabis - in his blood.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drug driving.
Ward, of Denmark Road, Bournemouth, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £324.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
