A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car in Purewell this morning.
Police were called at 8.34am today, Monday, March 29 to a report of a collision on Purewell in Christchurch involving a car and a motorcycle.
Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and road closures were put in place as the emergency services responded.
The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were believed to be serious.
The motorcycle was recovered and the local authority was contacted in relation to fuel on the road.
Officers left the scene at around 10.30am.
