A PEDESTRIAN in his 70s has died almost a month after a collision with a motorbike in Poole.
The local man was airlifted to Southampton Hospital following the collision on Sunday February 28 in Commercial Road, near the Civic Centre.
He died in hospital yesterday morning and his next of kin has been informed. They are currently being supported by specially-trained officers.
The man was in collision with a black Yamaha motorcycle with a pillion passenger.

Following the collision, the 26-year-old male motorcycle rider from Bournemouth and the 31-year-old female pillion passenger from Poole were taken to Poole Hospital with serious injuries. They have both since left hospital.
Sergeant Nikki Burt, of the traffic unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the pedestrian who sadly died at what must be an extremely difficult time for them.
"We are continuing to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision.
"I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, who has not already spoken to police to please contact us."
