A MAN who burgled a Bournemouth town centre burger restaurant has been order to carry out unpaid work by the courts.
Elliot Owen, 19, trespassed in 7 Bone Burger in Gervis Place, Bournemouth, on May 25, 2020, and stole two laptops worth £510.
Owen appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on March 18 in relation to the burglary, along with offences of criminal damage in Bournemouth Road, Poole, on October 4, 2020, assault on a man in Poole on June 16, 2020 and assaulting a female police constable and a public order crime in Poole on June 17, 2020.
The defendant, whose address was given as Hill Street, Poole, had pleaded guilty to the charges, as well as a breach of a conditional discharge order, at an earlier hearing.
Magistrates handed Owen a community order, which required him to complete 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and 180 hours of unpaid work.
He was also told to pay compensation of £510 for the burglary, £112.50 for the criminal damage and £100 for the assault on the man.
