IF YOU don't quite fancy 18-holes with the kids then head down to one of the mini golf courses in Dorset this half term.
We're spoilt for choice with golf courses, indoor crazy golf centres and mini golf parks in the county.
As part of the roadmap out of lockdown, Boris Johnson announced that outdoor sport would be able to resume on March 29.

Dorset's mini golf courses have been closed for a significant period over the last 12 months and haven’t allowed golfers in at all during 2021.

Pirate Adventure Mini Golf

Pirate Adventure Mini Golf features 18 holes of piratical putting and is located at Weymouth SeaLife.
Golfers of all ages and abilities are able to navigate the course, which includes challenges featuring everything from Jolly Roger galleons and treasure chests to gunpowder barrels and more.
Online booking is essential and social distancing measures, including all suitable precautions around Covid-19, will be in place throughout the course.

Mighty Adventures Crazy Golf
Mighty Adventures Crazy Golf is located close to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, with plenty of holes and an exciting course it's a great place for the whole family.
The Jurassic themed course is filled with moving dinosaurs, thundering waterfalls and steaming volcanoes. It was adapted from the children’s story, The Mighty Claws Don’t Want To Hunt.

Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf Bournemouth
Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf is located right next to Bournemouth Pier on the beachfront.
There are 18 holes of action-packed adventure including treacherous rocks, church ruins and waterfalls.
Packed with challenges, the themed course is ideal for some friendly family rivalry.

Bournemouth Gardens Classic Mini Golf
This 18 hole mini course is at the heart of the Lower Gardens between Bournemouth pier and the main town centre.
This classic course includes 12 accessible holes, which are suitable for people with reduced mobility or who use a wheelchair.

Squirrel Cafe and Mini Golf
Squirrel Café and mini golf is just a short stroll from Boscombe Pier through Boscombe Chine Gardens.

Poole Park Crazy Golf
Self-proclaimed as the 'best mini golf course on the south coast' Poole Park's 12-hole course is ideal for family and friends alike.
The minigolf is located right next to the car park near The Kitchen and Scoops, near the Kingland Road entrance to the park.
This classic mini golf park is a standard 12-hole green.

Lyme Regis Mini Golf
Some of the cheapest golf in Dorset, Lyme Regis' mini golf course costs just £4 for adults and £2 for children.
The 18-hole mini golf in the Lister Gardens is a popular attraction for players of all ages.
All the equipment is provided and there are stickers and mini prizes for children on completing the course
