FILMING for the new Netflix series being shot in Poole drew to a close as the production team recorded scenes with 130 extras on Sandbanks beach.
The production company have been based in Sandbanks car park since Friday, March 26, with filming taking place over two locations in the Dorset beauty spot.
Whilst staff and security on site are keeping tight lipped about what project is under way, growing speculation points towards the upcoming DC television series The Sandman.

The suggestion that the miniseries being produced was The Batman, after a crew member wearing a ‘The Batman Location Department’ hoodie was seen on location, were quashed by staff on site.
One member of staff told the Echo: “Crew members will only be given those jumpers after the film or programme is released.
“If you look around the set, you will see people wearing Jurassic Park hoodies and clothing from other films they have worked on.
“Newspapers look to guess and predict what shows or films we are working on.
"However, if anyone gives away any information, it will jeopardise the whole production and that person will be struck off.”
At Sandbanks beach, a section of the promenade close to the crazy golf site, was closed off to the public, as retro street vendors, palm trees, parasols and extras dressed in summer clothing occupied the space.
Pedestrians were told to cross the scene using a rubber walkway on the sand, where extras posed under straw sunshades and sun loungers.
American flags were seen waving from the tops of the building overlooking the beach.
The Sandman is another DC television series currently in production, which will feature The Boat That Rocked star Tom Sturridge and English actor Charles Dance.
Filming for the show started on October 15, 2020, however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, filming for the first season has been limited to the United Kingdom.
A local resident has also backed up claims the filming is for The Sandman series, with the production crew allegedly using Sandbanks beach because of its resemblance to Florida.
Production for the first season is expected to last until June 2021.
However, filming in the Poole area has now finished, as crew members were keen to get filming completed before the Bank Holiday weekend which is expected to bring with it hundreds of visitors to Sandbanks beach.
A member of the location department said: “It has been a long project but the filming side of it is nearing completion.
“With Good Friday around the corner, we know this area gets very busy during the holidays so we will be wrapping up filming before then.
“The filming was completed yesterday and over the next couple of days, the crew will be clearing up and moving out. So, by tomorrow, no one will be here.”
