POLICE have stepped up patrols in Sandbanks and warned people to behave following a fight.
One man suffered serious injuries and a police officer was spat at during a disturbance in the car park at Tesco Express on Thursday April 1.
A spokesman for Poole police said officers from the town's Neighbourhood Policing Team have been carrying out checks in the area over the Easter weekend and will continue to do so.

There have been increased reports of anti-social behaviour and large gatherings in the area.
A police spokesman said: "People are reminded to behave responsibly and be respectful to the residents who live in this area. We will enforce this robustly and deal with offenders, who breach Covid restrictions and any antos-social behaviour and alcohol related disorder.
"We are working with our BCP colleagues to ensure everyone can enjoy our beautiful beaches responsibly."
