A MAN is due to appear in court accused of a series of offences in relation to a serious injury crash in Poole.
The collision, which happened in Melbury Avenue, was reported at 2.27pm on Friday, August 21, 2020.
It involved a pedestrian - a 13-year-old local boy - and a grey Mercedes A-Class.
The boy was taken to hospital and treated for serious life-changing head injuries.
Providing an update on April 9, a Dorset Police spokesman said a 28-year-old man has now been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drug driving, failing to stop after a road accident and possessing a class B drug.
He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 30.
