SECTIONS of Charminster Road will be closed to all vehicles to allow for roadworks.
BCP Council confirmed in a public notice that the Bournemouth road will be closed for two weeks.
It said: “Sections of Charminster Road to be opened and closed to all vehicles, as works progress between Charminster Avenue and Broadway Roundabout.
“No parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time will be permitted.
“As works progress, the following roads will be closed to all vehicles at their junctions with Charminster Road: Charminster Avenue, Strouden Road, Strouden Avenue, Gresham Road, Mortimer Road, Malvern Road, Uplands Road, Claremont Road, Luckham Road East.
“To undertake phased carriageway resurfacing works by BCP Council.
“Works to be undertaken in five phases, between April 6, 2021, and April 19, 2021.
“Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.”
