AS A FORMER Bournemouth hotel manager the local public have a limited idea as to the cost of keeping these old seaside hotels open, and more so maintaining them to a good standard.
Local people have not used the Haven Hotel so I am surprised at the reaction.
Is it not better to see a new development showing the amount of investment coming into the area.
Better than seeing a building falling into an eye sore.the proposed developers just need to be sympathetic to the look of the new buildings.
If you look at some of the large houses being built around sandbanks there are worse eye sores, locals should try harder to support these hotels then we would not see so many closing down.
