POLICE and the ambulance services attended a medical incident in Swanage where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses said three police cars and four ambulances could be seen in Park Road Swanage at around 12pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a request for assistance from the ambulance service at 11.25am on Sunday, April 11, following a report of a medical incident in Park Road in Swanage.
“Officers attended to assist. Very sadly, the man aged in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. His next of kin has been informed and our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.”
