FEWER than 20 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Dorset over the last 24 hours, latest figures show.
Data released by the government shows 16 cases were confirmed across the county in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Tuesday.
The BCP Council area recorded 10 new cases, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 25,188.
In the seven days leading up to April 8, the latest rolling seven-day period, 42 cases were recorded, giving a rolling infection rate of 10.6 per 100,000 people.
The Dorset Council area recorded six new cases, taking the total to 11,779.
The rolling infection rate stood at 16.6 per 100,000 with 63 cases confirmed in a week.
Elsewhere, four cases were confirmed in the New Forest, taking the total to 6,128.
The rolling infection rate was 12.8 per 100,000 people with 23 cases confirmed in the week before April 8.
