Giggi ice cream is returning to Bournemouth
MUCH-LOVED Giggi ice cream is back in Bournemouth despite its own shop closing for good.
Giggi Gelateria in the Burlington Arcade closed in February after 13 years in business due to "challenging economic times."
But now the ice cream is available at Banoffee Patisserie in Old Christchurch Road.
A spokesman said: "Great news - Giggi Ice Cream is now available at the Banoffee Patisserie. This really is a great showcase for our ice cream and also their amazing pastries."
Another Wetherspoons pub set to re-open as lockdown eases
The Bournemouth shop opened in 2008. In 2015 it was in the running for an award for best ice cream destination in the world.
It had to settle for second place behind Slovenian business Lolita.
