A MAN who stole 150 Cadbury Creme Eggs from a Tesco store in Bournemouth has been handed a prison sentence.
Scott Walsh-Fleming stole the large number of chocolate treats and 10 packets of coffee beans from Tesco Express in The Triangle on January 6.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on April 20 by video link from custody, Walsh-Fleming, 37 and of no fixed abode, admitted stealing the items, which had an overall value of £94.60.
He also admits a second charge of theft, relating to stealing £63.30 worth of goods from Co-op in Madeira Road, Bournemouth, on the same day.
The defendant was committed to prison for seven days, with the bench noting the seriousness of the offence as he was already serving a term of imprisonment for separate matters.
Walsh-Fleming was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
