FIREFIGHTERS were sent to a farm in Sway after a manure heap caught on fire.
Fire crews from Lymington were called to an address on Pitmore Lane at 12.03pm on Saturday April 24.
The fire which started in an open area was found to be a large pile of horse manure, and two hose reel jets were sued to extinguish the fire.
A spokesman from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service said: “Firefighters from Lymington were called to Pitmore Lane, Sway, at 12:03 on Saturday April 24.
“They used two hose reel jets to put out a manure heap on fire.
“The stop message came in at 1:26pm.”
