A DRIVER fled after smashing his pick-up truck into the front of a charity shop in Highcliffe.
Emergency services were alerted at 4.20pm yesterday after the Ford Ranger wrecked the front of the Sue Ryder shop and collided with a parked car.
Police attended and one person was treated at the scene by the ambulance service.
The person was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Road closures were put in place as the emergency services responded to the incident and officers carried out enquiries.
"It was reported that the driver of the Ford Ranger had decamped from the vehicle and left the scene prior to police arrival. Enquiries to identify and locate the driver are ongoing."
The vehicle was recovered and officers left the scene shortly before 8pm.
