IT’S HARD to believe it’s been 10 years since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at Westminster Abbey.
Revellers from across Dorset turned out in their thousands to celebrate the royal wedding on April 29, 2011.
People crammed into busy streets throughout the day to mark the big occasion.
Many dressed in red, white and blue, sporting Union Flag hats and scarves, while others waved flags and carried balloons in a collective show of patriotism.
The rain that was forecast for much of the country stayed away, but not even that would have dampened the spirits of the crowds.
Families, students and couples young and old stayed glued to events as they unfolded.
The parties continued long after the ceremony.
Pupils from various schools across Dorset celebrated the royal wedding the day beforehand on April 28, 2011.
