A WIMBORNE woman has been sentenced after she was found guilty of assault and criminal damage offences in the New Forest.
Rebecca Allsopp, 42, was accused of assaulting a woman by beating her in Godshill on October 11, 2019. She was also alleged to have damaged an internal wall at an address in Burley between October 4 and October 10, 2019.
Allsopp, whose address was given as Whitchampton Lane, Wimborne, pleaded not guilty to both charges.
However, she was found guilty of both offences at a West Hampshire Magistrates' Court hearing on March 30.
The defendant appeared at the same court for sentencing on April 28 and she was handed a 12-month community order.
This included a requirement to complete up to 16 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
Allsopp was also issued with a 12-month restraining order, fined £60 and ordered to pay £200 costs and a £90 surcharge.
