A POPULAR Bournemouth based delicatessen and cheese shop is to open a new store in the centre of Christchurch on Friday.
Renoufs are to launch their brand-new artisan cheese and fine wine shop on Christchurch’s High Street, on May 7.
The boutique shop in Christchurch is the latest addition to the six Renoufs Cheese and Wine Bars located across Bournemouth, Poole and the New Forest.

Founder Trevor Ayling said: “We are so excited to be opening in Christchurch.
“After opening our shop in the Westbourne Arcade in December last year, we have been inundated with customers looking for something a little more special to what you can purchase in the supermarkets.
“Our award-winning restaurants pride themselves on offering high quality cheese, charcuterie, and wines, and we wanted to bring this to the High Street for our customers to take away.”
The company’s second pantry, following the opening of its first store in Westbourne, will boast hundreds of artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and the finest of wines sourced from local businesses.
Local produce on offer includes chutneys and jams produced by From Dorset With Love, Pear Haus coffee, which is roasted in Dorset and a selection of Dorset Sea Salts harvested from Chesil beach.
Plans are in place to showcase some of the deli’s offerings through cheese and wine tasting session, which are to be hosted after the listing for fully lockdown restrictions on June 21.
Mr Ayling added: “Our Christchurch Cheese and Wine shop is almost three times the size of our Westbourne shop and will boast hundreds of artisan cheeses and select fine wines.
“Our customers can pop in for any size cheese and can also create their own hampers from scratch.
"Renoufs passionately supports local businesses, and will be showcasing superb local produce, from cheese, meats, wine, eggs, chutneys, handmade chocolates, coffee, garlic, salts and more.
“Our cheese and wine sommeliers will also be hosting cheese tasting and wine tasting events at our Pantry’s, once the Covid restrictions have been fully lifted.”
