A MACHETE was seized by police after armed officers attended an incident in Christchurch.
Dorset Police received a report of a man with the blade in Normandy Drive at around 4.45pm on Monday, May 3.
Officers attended, including units from the armed response team, and a search of the area was carried out.

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "An 18-year-old local man and a 19-year-old man from Poole were arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.
"They are both currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
"There were no reports of any injuries during the incident. A machete was seized by officers."
