A DRIVER was arrested after police received reports of a crash involving a stolen motorbike.

Bournemouth Police searched West Howe after the rider of the bike left the scene.

A spokesperson said: “Following reports of a motorbike being ridden anti-socially in the West Howe area, a further call was received relating to the same bike being involved in a collision with a tree.

“PCSO 5713 and PCSO 5396 assisted officers with an area search to locate the driver. The motorbike involved had been stolen and the driver was arrested and taken to hospital to be checked over.

“Please continue to report any anti-social behaviour to 101 or in any emergency call 999.”
