FIBRE installation works means a Bournemouth road will close for a week.
BCP Council confirmed in a public notice that Heathcote Road will close from May 10 until may 17 while is carries out fibre installation work.
The road will be closed from its junction with Christchurch Road to its junction with Hawkwood Road to all vehicles and no loading or unloading will be permitted.
Full emergency services access will be maintained and a diversion will be signposted.
The public notice said: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with approval of the Secretary of State.”
