Letter to the Editor: Do you remember ‘Granny’ Raus?
ARE any of your readers old enough to remember a foreign lady who had the courtesy title of ‘Granny’ Raus?
Over the years, she fostered 100 children, which was recorded by the Echo in her obituary. She fostered my sister Pauline and me between 1948-1950.
I should be so pleased to learn more about her.
