A DRIVER accused of doing 126mph in a 70mph zone with two children in the car is to appear in court.
Dorset Police No Excuse team took the speed recording at 8.17pm on Saturday May 8.
The speeding motorist, who had a child in the front passenger seat and a baby in the rear of the car, has been reported to court.
A spokesman from the force said: “You are responsible for your passengers, whatever age they are.”
Officers also helped to track down a reported stolen vehicle in the Dorset area.
The spokesman added: “We were also involved in a search for a recently stolen vehicle. It was followed from Dorset and stopped in Hampshire without incident.
“The two occupants were arrested and helping us with our enquiries.”
