A SECTION of the A35 Puddletown Bypass is closed due to a sink hole.
The A35 westbound is closed at the Troytown junction due to a sink hole.
In a tweet this morning, Travel Dorset said: "The pothole which @HighwaysSWEST repaired yesterday, later re-emerged as a sinkhole."
In an upate at around 8.30am on Wednesday, TravelDorset said the westbound carriageway will remain closed "at least for today."
Contractors will be meeting this morning to discuss plans for carriageway reconstruction; and traffic management.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said on Tuesday: "Police were informed at 3.23pm that there is a sink hole on the A35 Puddletown bypass at the Troytown junction.
"The road is currently closed and motorists are asked to use alternative routes. Highways are dealing."
