SIX fire crews were called to a fire on the third floor of a six-storey building in Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Crews rushed to Holdenhurst Road to a fire in the oven of the property. The occupants were evacuated safely.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a six storey building on Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth at 10.45pm last night for a fire on the third floor.
“Crews attended from Springbourne, Redhill Park, Christchurch (x2) and Poole (x2), together with the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne and a support appliance from Hamworthy.
“The occupants of the building evacuated safely, and a small fire was located in an oven – two breathing apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet to extinguish. The stop came at 11.17pm.”
