A BOURNEMOUTH road will close for two works while gas main connection works are carried out.
Leven Avenue is set to close on May 26 while SGN carry out the works.
A public notice from BCP Council said: “Notice is hereby given that BCP Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.”
The road will be closed at its junction with Branksome Wood Road and won’t reopen until June 9.
A diversion will be in place via Branksome Wood Road and Benellen Avenue.
The council confirmed full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will remain.
The notice added: “These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
