DOG owners have been urged to ensure their pets are microchipped after police found a lost dog in Christchurch.
The bulldog was found in Barrack Road as police patrolled the area yesterday.

A spokesman for Christchurch police said: "You never know what you are going to find whilst out on patrol. We located this little man on Barrack Road.
"Thankfully we managed to return him to his owners. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on Microchip database."
