A POPULAR tea gardens is showing off its new extension and refurbishment as it opens for indoor dining today.
Tuckton Tea Gardens has more indoor seating, as well as a new chef and new menu.
The venue sits alongside the River Stour and building work has been carried out over several months.
Spokesman Jason Giddings said: "We are excited to show all of our customers what we have created. We have a new head chef offering an excellent menu with new daily specials and lots of vegan and gluten free options.

"It has taken longer than we anticipated but we are open for the loosening of the Covid restrictions which was our main priority.
"My team will be adjusting to the new government guidance to ensure the safety of both those working here and also our customers and guests looking to dine with us. We have lots planned for the summer ahead and look forward to the next chapter of Tuckton Tea Gardens."
The company runs the tea gardens as well as the headland ferry service from Tuckton to Mudeford beach, self-drive motor boats and the Wick ferry, situated outside the Captain's Club in Christchurch.
It hopes to cater for events such as weddings and other celebrations.
