THE A338 Wessex Way is set to be closed for two nights in Bournemouth next week.
Parts of the dual carriageway will be shut off in both directions overnight on Monday, May 24, and Tuesday, May 25.
The closures are required to allow BCP Council engineers to carry out highway maintenance.
On the first night the Wessex Way will be closed in both directions between County Gates and St Paul's roundabout, while the northbound carriageway will also be blocked off from St Paul's roundabout to Springbourne roundabout.
The following night the main road will be shut both ways between the Cooper Dene flyover and Springbourne roundabout, with the southbound side also closed down to St Paul's roundabout.
BCP Council says closures will run from 8.30pm until 4am the following day, but some sections will be reopened during each night as work progresses.
Signed diversion routes will be in place.
