AN infant has died after suffering a cardiac arrest at an address in Bournemouth.
Police were called to the property near Winton Recreation Ground by the ambulance service at 1.39pm on Monday, May 17.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "The infant was taken to hospital where they were very sadly pronounced dead.
“There is nothing to indicate that the death is suspicious. As with all cases involving a death in infancy, officers will be carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
“Our thoughts are with the family involved and we would ask that their privacy is respected at this extremely difficult time.”
Members of the public reported seeing ambulances and the air ambulance in the area.
