FIREWORK displays will return to Poole Quay this summer.
BCP Council has teamed up with CityFibre for the summertime fireworks throughout July and August.
Taking place on five Thursdays across the two summer months, the CityFibre Spectacular will see family fun and live music staged at the quay before the grand finale of the fireworks at 10pm.
Councillor Beverley Dunlop, council lead member for cultural events, Festival Coast Live! and Bournemouth regeneration, said: “It’s really fantastic, positive news to have confirmed our partnership with CityFibre.
"As we move towards summertime we’re hopeful we will be able to welcome people to the town, the weekly fireworks we’ve hosted over the years have always offered a great relaxed and fun time, this year’s added entertainment and music programme will certainly create a fantastic atmosphere for residents and holiday makers alike.”

Lucy Cooper, city manager of CityFibre, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Poole Quay Summer Fireworks programme this year.
"With the prediction of a staycation this summer it’s a fantastic opportunity to partner with BCP Council at a series of events.
"It also offers us a perfect platform to meet local residents and explain who CityFibre are, what we do, and talk through how we are building a world class digital infrastructure in the town.”
