DORSET’S most dog-friendly beaches and places to eat have been revealed.
Dog-friendly holiday provider Canine Cottages has analysed TripAdvisor data to find the most dog-friendly places to go in Dorset.
Based on the percentage of reviews on TripAdvisor suggesting a place was dog-friendly, they found the most dog-friendly beaches, pubs and cafes across the county
Hive Beach in Burton Bradstock was named as the most dog-friendly beach in Dorset, followed by Album Chine with Southbourne taking the third spot.
The top 10 most dog-friendly beaches in Dorset:

- Alum Chine Beach, Bournemouth
- Branksome Chine, Poole
- Southbourne Beach, Bournemouth
- Monmouth Beach, Lyme Regis
- Charmouth Beach, Charmouth
- Highcliffe Beach, Christchurch
- Weymouth Beach, Weymouth
- Hengistbury Head Beach, Bournemouth
- Studland Beach and Nature Reserve, Studland Bay
And when it comes to dining out with your four-legged friend, The Black Dog in Weymouth came out on top.
Just one eatery in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area appeared in the top 10 most dog-friendly places to eat in the county with Chineside at Durley Chine coming in third place.

Canine Cottages have also released the Dog-Friendly Index, where people will be able to find these and more dog-friendly places as recommended by TripAdvisor reviewers.
