A BOY was taken to hospital after being hit by a glass bottle during a reported fight in Bournemouth.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 21 after police received reports of a large fight in the Lower Gardens at 11.13pm.
During the incident it is alleged that a 17-year-old local boy was hit with a glass bottle and sustained an injury to his face. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 16-year-old local boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Now, detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the incident.
Detective Constable Neil Causebrook, of Bournemouth CID, said: "I am aware that there were a number of people in the gardens at the time of the incident and I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police to please come forward.
"I would also urge anyone who has images or video footage of the incident to contact Dorset Police."
