THERE are zero Covid-19 patients in hospitals across Dorset, and case rates across the county remain at "low levels", health officials have said.
Local health authority Public Health Dorset said the rate had been between five and 10 cases per 100,000 people.
A spokesperson said: "Local case rates remain at low levels, with a further small decrease in both Dorset Council and BCP Council areas again this week."
Across Dorset, there are currently no patients being treated for Covid compared to five previously.
The latest data has revealed that the rate in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area for the seven days leading up to May 15 was 8.9 with 35 cases.
This is below the South West average of 9.2 cases per 100,000.
During the same period, the rate in the wider Dorset area was 5.3 with 20 cases recorded.
Both BCP and Dorset have rates below the England average of 21.
In the run up top May 16, 772,958 Covid vaccine doses had been administered to people in Dorset.
The spokesperson said: "We also encourage everyone to take up the offer of a vaccine when it's your turn. We are seeing increasing evidence on the effectiveness of the vaccine, and it is one of the best ways you can protect yourself and others.
"Over three quarters of a million doses have been given in Dorset already, so make sure you book yours when it's your turn and don't forget to attend your second appointment for maximum protection."
