POLICE hunting a man who stole an iPhone 12 as its owner tried on a pair of shoes have released a CCTV image.
At around 5.45pm on Thursday April 22 the female victim was trying on shoes in JD Sports in Commercial Road, Bournemouth when she put her belongings down on a seat near to her.
A man picked up the phone from the seat, placed it in his pocket and left the store.

Police Sergeant Phil Stevens, of Bournemouth police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this incident and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to.
“I am keen to speak to the man pictured to get his account and would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact me.
“I would also urge the man involved to please do the right thing and come forward.”
