STREET drinkers causing a nuisance outside a supermarket and petrol station are being targeted by police.
Complaints have been made about anti-social behaviour at Asda St Paul's and the Texaco and Co-op in Holdenhurst Road.
Police officers and community support officers from the Bournemouth South and East Neighbourhood Policing Teams have been carrying out extra patrols for the last two weeks.
They have been joined by representatives of the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme.

A spokesman for Bournemouth police said: "We have been targeting the area of Texaco and Asda on Holdenhurst Rd. This is in response to reports of street drinking and anti-social behaviour of certain groups and individuals.
"We have been signposting those in need of certain services and removing people from the area who cause anti-social behaviour as well as working for longer term solutions on the most prolific offenders.
"Officers will continue to patrol the area and provide a police presence and deal with any issues that occur."
