WE had a swan who landed on our park home roof.

We contacted RSPCA who took details, then returned our call to say there was nothing they would be able to do!

Abbotsbury Swannery kindly gave me the number of Ringwood Animal rescue, who came within the hour and rescued the swan and took her to Wareham Quay for release.

I’m astonished that the RSPCA were so dismissive of a beautiful bird who was obviously distressed and disorientated.
