EMERGENCY services were called to reports of a dog over the cliff top in Highcliffe.
Coastguard teams from Southbourne and Lymington were called to support fire fighters who were already at the scene near Highcliffe Castle shortly before 3.30pm on Wednesday, May 26.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard Rescue Team said while they were on there way to the incident information came through that the dog and its owner were safe and no further assistance was required.
