A BOURNEMOUTH man has received a suspended prison sentence for sending threatening messages to a woman and harassing a man.
Sebastian Anthony William Parsons, 35, pleaded guilty to sending a communication, in the form of texts, to a woman which conveyed a threatening message.
He also admitted a charge of harassment of a man without violence. This allegation involved him sending and posting threatening and abusive messages.
Both offences were committed in Calne, Wiltshire, last summer.
Magistrates sitting in Salisbury on May 24 committed Parsons, whose address was given as Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months.
This sentence included up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and 150 hours of unpaid work.
The defendant also received a five-year retraining order from the courts. He must also pay £85 prosecution costs and a £128 surcharge.
