A RESTAURANT that prides itself on being family-friendly and offering a wide selection of food and cocktails has taken the crown for this week's Pub of the Week.
The Tipsy Cow has two prime locations in Bournemouth, one in Charminster Road and another (the latest addition) in Bournemouth Triangle in Commercial Road.
Both restaurants offer dining throughout the day and into the evening with a variety of cocktails on offer, but for owner of four years Alex Marshall, the Tipsy Cow's unique selling point goes beyond food and drink.
Alex said: "Our service and our welcome is really strong, we’re very customer service orientated.
"Staff at both sites are really focused and happy to help people.

"Also, our menu is very well priced and we do a lot of promotions throughout the week, so we’re budget-friendly. A lot of people want to go out more than before and want to have the same experience for a good price.
"We offer a variety of burgers, homemade pizzas (everything is homemade), small plates and gluten-free alternatives for nearly everything. 30 per cent of the menu is vegan and we have good vegan offerings.
"Customers can have something they like and no one will need to compromise on anything. There are lots of choices at both restaurants.
"We do cocktails which we’re really well known for, and we offer coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. People want to come here to enjoy themselves."
The Tipsy Cow in Commercial Road opened in December 2020 but had to shut three weeks later due to the third national lockdown.
The restaurant reopened its doors and welcomed customers back in May, while the Charminster restaurant reopened in April.
Alex said: "When we first opened in the Triangle, we opened under strange conditions. But after Christmas we were shut for months. This time round, the business has been going really well.
"Our restaurants are relaxed and spacious and we are fairly versatile and adaptable. We are more family-friendly than most venues and we suit all age groups.
"Having the good weather recently has really helped us, and hopefully now things will get better.
"For now, we want to remain really positive this year and make the most of the venues we have, but our plan has always been to have more Tipsy Cow's.
"We want to get the business back to where it was and help get people’s confidence back."
