These pictures capture all the fun of the fair.
The photographs were taken during a fun day at Carter Community School on June 17, 2001
The fair was part of a joint venture between five schools from Hamworthy and Turlin Moor.
Schools included Turlin Moor first, Turlin Moor Middle and Carter Community.
Local groups also provided entertainment and showed off their skills, including Lakewood Taekwondo School and Turlin Moor Brownies.
Youngsters were kept amused with face painting, sports and other activities, while adults could grab a refreshing beer from the pumping station. Were you at the event? Share your memories in the comments below.
