IT may have been a slog for some, but organisers were over the moon when Poole Festival of Running turned out to be a great success.
It was the fifth year running that the prestigious Poole 10k had run side-by-side with the equally popular series of minithon races for youngsters.
With children as young as eight taking part alongside the slightly mature 70-somethings, the festival proved popular for all ages.
These pictures, taken June 12, 2021, show the youngsters' minithon races.
The event was cancelled for the last two years due to Covid-19.
Were you or your child a part of the races that year? What are your memories? Let us know in the comments below.
