A MAN has been arrested following a CCTV appeal after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man following the incident that occured at 5.40pm on Sunday, June 13.
The 20-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of assault by penetration.
He is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.

The 16-year-old girl was walking with a friend when they were approached by a group of men.
One of the group asked the victim if she wanted to go for a chat and reportedly led her to an area of bushes near to the crazy golf site, where the sexual assault took place.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Detectives are continuing to support the victim as they carry out their investigation. Local officers can be approached by members of the public with any concerns.
"We would like to thank the members of the public who came forward and helped with our appeal."
